You saw it on the store and you fell in love with it immediately, you moved her mouse, touch her keyboard, felt her speed and how it opens Pinball so fast. You bought it and took it home. You installed it and were so happy that your PC was so fast. But times go by and you notice that your PC started to slowdown at boot up time. You needed to wait for minutes until your profile is loaded and your programs seem to act very strange and slow.

It’s also related to unwanted pop up banners that you close and they keep returning nonstop. They are asking you to install some kind of software or just blatant advertising. Spyware in a nut shell basically makes your PC run slower than ever. Once a computer is infected with spyware, the software usually uses your internet connection to download more spyware and install it without you knowing.

What is a Malware?
A Malware is software designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner’s informed consent. The expression is a general term used by computer professionals to mean a variety of forms of hostile, intrusive, or annoying software or program code. Software is considered malware based on the perceived intent of the creator rather than any particular features. Malware includes computer viruses, worms, trojan horses, most rootkits, spyware, dishonest adware, crimeware and other malicious and unwanted software.
Your PC Hardware could be the problem!
This might not be the problem with your PC, but it’s good to mention it. Once you delete viruses and spyware you may have on your PC, If your PC is still running slow, then is time to get a qualified technician to check your PC to see if you are having trouble with one of your hardware devices. Verify that you have at least 512MB (1GB recommended) of RAM memory. If you have 256MB or less this might not be sufficient for running Windows XP and multiple programs. If you have Windows Vista then 1GB (2GB recommended) is better for best performance and speed.
