By default there is no command key for changing font style (not that I know)

My Windows PC wakes up at the same time as I do.
I used to leave my PC turned on all night so when I wake up don’t have to wait for it to boot up or wake up from hibernation mode. It worked for me for a while but lately with the price of oil so high and the save the planet, think green movement, I realize that I should do my part and start turning off my PC.
I did it for a while, but I started to get frustrated because I was loosing so much time waiting for the PC to start. So I decided to do my research to find a more effective and more productive way and this is what I find.
I found a way to wake up my PC at the same time that I wake up in the morning. It’s awesome to go to my PC and there she is waiting for me with my Mozilla Thunderbird (email client) open and ready for action and knowing that I’m doing my part for the planet!
Here is the method I used to wake up my PC:
Click on the Start button then go to All Programs|Accessories|System Tools|Scheduled Tasks.

Click on Add Scheduled Task.
A window will pop up then click Next.
Choose the program you want Windows to run.
Then click Next.
On the “Perform this task” section, choose Daily and click Next.
Select the time you wan your PC to run this task, “Perform this task” Daily and select the date you want to start and then click Next.
Very Important: Enter a user name and password with administrative privilege.
Click Next and in the last window select “Open advanced properties for this task when I click Finish” Then click Finish.
On the window that pops up select the “Settings” tab and in the “Power Management” section select the “Wake the computer to run this task” then click “OK”.
Here is a video to show you in more details.
NOTE: For this method to work you need 2 things:
- Your computer hardware must be ACPI and Plug-and-Play compliant and the drivers must also be Plug-and-Play compliant.
- Second, you’ll need to check your Windows Power Options properties to ensure that hibernate is enabled. If not, you’ll need to enable it.

How to Change Windows Vista Default Browser
Hello all!
This is the promised video on how to change your default browser on windows vista.
On the video I’m using the new Windows 7 but is basically the same.
If you have any doubt or question don’t hesitate to comment below.
How to Set the Vista Default Browser Manually
If you use windows vista but would like to change Internet Explorer to be your default browser, then this settings are for you.
They are 2 way (that I know) to do this. The fist one is once you open your prefer browser you’ll get a notification like the one bellow that asks you if you want to change this browser to your default browser, select “YES” and it will become automatically your default browser.

If that doesn’t work you can do it manually by following the steps bellow:
- Press the Windows key.
- Select Default Programs near the bottom of the right-hand menu.
- Click on Set your default programs.
- Select your favorite browser from the list at the left.
- On the right side, click on Set this program as default.
- Click on OK.
- Close the window.
Note that the browser must be installed before it will show up on the list.
Soon I’ll make a video to show you how to do it.
